On April 4, 2014 I presented a paper on the cognitive disconnect between the liturgical and traditional building practices of religious historic sites in India and international principles like the Venice Charter. More specifically, the paper discussed the differences between sites of the Hindu faith, and how they are valued for their architectural and historical significance, while their religious significance and use are lost.
