My submitted paper titled “The challenge of heritage planning and management in rapidly urbanizing Indian city of Lucknow” based on my current doctoral dissertation research has been accepted by the ACSP panel for presentation at the Conference to be held in Cincinnati from Nov 2-4, 2012.

I presented an on-going research at the UAA Urban Affairs Conference held at New Orleans between March 16 and 19. My paper was titled: Historic Preservation, Cooperation and Participation:How conservation architects navigate bureaucracy in India. I attended the National Preservation Conference in Austin, TX from Oct 26 – 30, 2010. The Conference brought together community groups, academics, non-profits, experts, students, researchers, architects, planners, preservationists, engineers and others from across the United States over four days of interactive sessions and field trips.
